Starting with the illusion exercise, the skater walks through the transitions between the three axes. From standstill with their left arm in front, the skater pushes as if beginning a forward upright spin and kicks her free leg (this skater’s right leg) forward so that her leg nears or touches her left hand. In a fluid motion she pushes into a backspin and kicks her left leg straight back into a camel spin position, while keeping her left arm in front and not reaching downward. Finally, she brings her right arm to her left (her left arm is held in front of her for the entire spin) as she reaches the back sit spin position.
